Rainy season is upon us, here in the Pacific Northwest and your visibility to see through your front window of your car is especially important!
Your windshield wipers help keep debris and rain off of your window while driving so you can see clearly and drive safely. Just like any other part of your car, these can wear down and not work as well as when you first get them. How do you know if they are not working to their fullest potential? Here are a few signs it is time to get new windshield wipers.
Windshield wipers should be replaced about every six months to a year, depending on how much you use them. There are some products (like Rain-X) that have been designed to use on your car that will not collect water on your windows. This might be a good product if you only get rain a couple times a year or only dew in the morning time. For heavy rain states (like us), this is not a solution to not having wipers. It will collect more than you think and will also reduce visibility and is not safe to have in place of.
Contact Luke today to get your windshield wipers replaced before the winter season and before all the rain starts to come down!
