You would never think of leaving little buster the cat unattended while you are away at the beach soaking up those rays, right? It is just as important to have your car checked on as well even if your car is garaged!
If you car is not garaged, then it is even more important to have someone stop by and check on it. Currently we are still experiencing high volumns of catalytic converter thefts in the Seattle area. Running the car will let you know if you were a victim and moving the car in it's spot will let theives know someone is still around and may prevent them from stealing it!
It is also important to have someone run the car until it hits temperature once a week or more. This helps to keep everything lubricated under the hood and will help keep the interior dry and moisture down.
A quick drive down the freeway helps the tires if you are going to be away for longer then 2 weeks. This will keeps them from flat spotting and moister from builiding up in any sidewall cracks they may have.
So, the next timne you schedule that "beach time" and are looking for someone to watch and take care of Buster, ask them if they will look after your car too!
