Well first of all, you kind of answered yourself when you said you've never have had to spend money before. Your mode of transportation is mostly just a mirror image of you. When you wear a hole in your walking shoes, what do you do? Just like tires you replace them. You get hungry, you eat, you fill your tank. Same with that little puddle jumper you drive.
Just like the human body your vehicle needs its check-ups as well. A well maintained Automobile actually does cost less that waiting for a light or a strange bad noise to appear.
Now that we are in the middle of spring with summer just around the corner, don't you think it's time to get it in for those inspections, fluid services and other maintenance items that are due?
